Article writing Practical workshop modules:

The material presented in the article writing course cover three areas.

Section one is acquaintance with scientific data sites, journals, articles, access and evaluation. This includes:

1. Acquaintance with different types and categories of articles.
2. Acquaintance with article publication methods and evaluation consisting of (a) Article publication for conferences and conventions and (b) article publication in domestic and international journals.
3. Introduction to accredited scientific sites for obtaining certificates such as articles, dissertations, or books.
4. Methods for achieving academic certificates and search strategies.
5. Topic-hunting for articles and theses.

Section two is practical teaching of the article framework.

This is in three phases:

1. Heading (title, authors, summary and key words).
2. Body (Introduction, conceptual framework or research background, research methods, findings, debate, and concluding)
3. Index (special thanks, sources, references and enclosures).

Section three is identification of journals for publication of articles including:

1. Judgment process and correspondence and article presentation policies.
2. Expenses and admission timing.
3. Evaluation approaches of journals accredited by the ministry of science and the Islamic Azad university.

The final stage is discussion on resume-writing and phD interview presenting resume-writing methods based on phD interviewers’ views.
